We picked up the girls after a restful morning and all had breakfast at Duncan’s Café. Worship was delightful and all appreciated Pastor Lisa. Because today is JoAnn’s birthday, we stopped next at the Visitor’s Center to sing her birthday and share treats with her. It was great fun, and then we stopped at McDonalds for cokes and Blueberry/Pomegranate smoothies – mmmh good.

Our thirst quenched, we were off to Anchor Point, where we watched the tractor launches, eagles on the beach, and had a picnic of birthday cupcakes and Moose is Loose bakery cake. What a treat!

When we got home, we beer-batter fried halibut and added slaw. That fresh halibut was delicious! Melita had to meet our kayak owner to buy a t-shirt, so we went back out to the spit, where we checked out the Salty Dog Saloon and several more gift shops. We had some chocolate cake left, so that was our dessert, as John shared the photos and journal of the biologists onboard the Tiĝlax. What a great day!
