July 3rd. – Everyone started pulling in today. The park sure filled up fast. It was a quite night because tomorrow was going to be a great 4th of July party.

July 4th. – The day dawned bright and warm. Paula Elkins had a water slide brought in and setup. Both the ladies and little kids enjoyed it. The lunch was potluck, as always there was more than enough food for everyone. A vote was taken to hide all scales! The rest of the day was just relaxing and fixing the problems of the world. We cooked hamburgers and hot dogs that night in keeping with the 4th theme.

THEN the fireworks started! It seemed that we were in the middle of fireworks central that night. It was hard to see them all because they were going off all around us. We did add to some of it. Ron Miller stopped by to enjoy the 4th with us. He stayed and played for several hours. Justin Campanella joined in on drums. Justin has played with several bands in the area before moving.

July 5th. – It was a VERY SLOW day for some of us!! Some of us missed breakfast, but I heard it was good. We had a CYO for Friday night at the camp. It was just an easy time all day.

July 6th. – Another great breakfast was provided. Mike and Keith BBQ ribs for dinner and they were great. Again everyone brought something and we ended up with more food than we could eat. Some of us tried to eat all of it and boy were we glad that the weight scales were banded from the camp!

July 7th. – Cleanup and pack up day. Even though we will see each other on a regular basis it is still sad to say by to such good friends.
