|The weather here changes quickly and dramatically. Yesterday we were riding bikes dressed in shorts. Today is cold, cloudy and about 50 degrees. Time for another museum! We are still in the Hoge Veluwe National Park which houses the Kroller-Muller Museum. Anton and Helene Kroller-Muller were a German-Dutch couple who purchased the park in 1914. He wanted hunting grounds, she wanted a museum. They were so rich they both got what they wanted. His hunting lodge is a huge mansion but is closed right now for renovation. Her museum holds the second largest collection of Van Gogh paintings as well as works by Picasso, Renoir and other famous masters. There is also a huge sculpture garden that takes about an hour to stroll through the entire area. The museum was definitely worth a visit.
