After a lovely drive we arrived at the Copper Mountain RV Park in Tacna, Az about 2pm. We've not stayed in Tacna before but our friends John & Joyce, and their friends Bob & Sara (now our new friends) are staying here. The park has a $50 month per month special rate going on for April, can you believe that! Almost as good as free boondocking but with all the amenities, lol. The temperature has started to rise in this part of Arizona so most of the snow birds are moving on. I'm sure that has something to do with the current rent. But we like it!

Did I mention that when we arrived there was a mobile RV wash crew here doing several rigs? We were excited to hear that they could fit us in before they left and for $40 they did a great job! The front of the 5'er really picked up the bugs in the past few weeks and it's really tough for Larry & I to reach them, especially the cap. It's really high!

There's a very nice clubhouse here, in fact we used it our first evening here. Joyce prepared a delicious meal, her own creation, of pork chops on a bed of spinach, covered with red potatoes drizzled with a delicious lemon/butter sauce. Doesn't that just have you salivating??? LOL Afterward Bob served up drumsticks for dessert. Good job Bob! A perfect way to end a wonderful meal with nice folks.

We're looking forward to doing a bit of exploring while we're here. We understand there's a terrific ghost/mining town worth seeing. So, thanks for stopping by and drop by again soon okay?
