Someone suggested we be sure to visit Marco Island which is between Big Cypress and Naples. It is where "all the money is". It has a lot of nice yachts, condo's, expensive homes, nice white beaches. Marco Island is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, located on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. It has been described as magical, mystical and alluring.

We met up with friends Jo & Fred for lunch. They are staying at park about an hour away. We love crossing their path and our get-togethers. Lunch today was at a #1 rated little cafe & seafood company called Lee Be Fish. It is rated #1 out of 76 restaurants. It was good. The menu was limited and you better want fish and only fish. The french fries were the Best. I would not rate it #1, but then we have not been to any other restaurants here.

Jo's Birding Guide mentioned great birding at Tigertail Beach is a popular place to bird watch. Tigertail Beach offers thirty-one acres of everything from natural resources to sandy beaches. There is a tidal lagoon which makes this a really neat place to visit.

There weren't a lot of birds, but enough. And the beach was definitely as advertised...beautiful white sugar. Life sure is good.
