Saturday 19th. Today the weather is a bit better so we decided to go and do a Port Arthur tour, I was still not on top of the world but getting a bit better. We did buy a Bronze Pass which gave us a small guided tour, Harbour cruise, and we also hired the self guided earphone guide. I was having a bit of trouble still with all the walking so was not that interested in it all (sorry Kylie)
Cannot up load any photos for a few days as we have expired our allowance of 150 photos in the last 30 days. As soon as we have some space left I will upload some.
We also had a chat to the leader of a group of fire fighters who were from Burnie and they were having a bit of a rest before going back, there is still one area they are worried about if the wind changes direction.
We had packed the caravan up and after seeing Port Arthur we headed off. We rang a little caravan park in Barilla which is between Hobart and the Airport in Cambridge and booked for two nights, the park is very well set up, has a big Putt Putt course and also a thermal hot pool which you can hire out for an hour for your use only. The park is an old one but the facilities are very good, oh, they also have a restaurant and pizza and icecream shop on site, now if only I was at the top of my game !!!
Sorry still no room for photos (I may have to upgrade to a different system)
