Well, we're still here at the Oasis Rv Park in Mesquite and our truck is still in St George, Utah at the Ford dealership. We hope to get it back late this afternoon. It took an extra day as they needed to get some info from the Ford dealership in Valley Verde, Arizona about the injectors we had replaced a couple of years ago. You might remember reading about that fiasco. Anyway, apparently we not only blew our turbo hose the other night but we also have 3 high pressure oil leaks. And, to make matters worse, when we had the last fuel filter replaced they used an inferior brand instead of a Ford filter and this has caused at least two more of our injectors to fail!!! Arghhhhhh....Can you trust no one these days? The St George dealership is working closely with the master tech in Valley Verde to see that things are done right this time. And we haven't decided what we can or will do about the dealership that used the Wix filter rather than the correct filter causing our injectors to disintegrate. They showed us the difference in the two and you can see why it would be very important to use the Ford product. Much larger & has a different lip on the top which apparently sends way more fuel to the injectors. Well, it's something like that...remember, I'm just 'a girl'! LOL

On the plus side, we've got to spend more time with Mom & Joyce. We've eaten out so much I've gained 3 pounds. Larry too I believe. We enjoyed our afternoon flick, saw the Flight with Denzel Washington. It was good, although a bit depressing. Well acted and worth a view in our opinion. The weather has been great, running in the low 70's, bright & sunny. There are only a few rigs here in the park so it is very quiet. There's a small laundromat on site so that's what I'm going to do now as we wait for 'the call'. Hopefully it will be fairly early this afternoon. I so, we head to Vegas tomorrow in time for Larry to make his 4pm appointment. Yep, he still does the occasional insurance sale. His clients of 20+ years refer him frequently to their family & friends so he writes new health insurance business when we're 'home'. Helps to keep our annual income supplemented. And we all need that these days, don't we!

Thanks for stopping by & I'll keep you posted on our progress. Have a great day!
