Today we hung out with Don & Eileen in Jerome, AZ. We can see the town of Jerome perched up on the hillside from our campsite. Our first stop was the Jerome Historic State Park. They have a great video on the town, done from the perspective of a ghost that resided in Jerome during the town's hey day. Very interesting and great introduction before looking around the grounds. Lots of great artifacts, nicely displayed.

We walked up through town to enjoy lunch at Grapes. Had a hearty italian lentil soup. After lunch we meandered thru a couple of shops. There was a parade of old cars going thru town, which are always fun to check out. We spent the remainder of our at the glass blowing studio. They were just getting ready to make a video of the artist's work in progress. It was interesting to watch. We have a better appreciation of the cost and work that goes into making a hand blown piece of art.
