Ron and Nancy joined us for breakfast at the Minute Café, following a Tidepool tour and walk on the beach with Ron. We had really worked up an appetite. We stopped at several places along Beach Loop Road, including China Creek, and saw that Cape Blanco looked clear. Soooooooooo, we headed down that way, and when we got there, it was very windy, but lovely and clear. We got the full tour of the lighthouse, visiting with Larry & Molly, and Grant and Kathy.

When we got back to Bandon, we shopped Old Town, buying Mom’s favorite candy at Cranberry Sweets, and grabbed a snack at the Bandon Fish Market. We took Ron and Nancy home to rest while we packed. We tried the Fisherman’s Wharf, checking on our tuna, and they had just come in. So, we ran back up to Charleston to pick up the fish and kept it on ice. When we got back, we were just in time to meet Ron and Nancy here for dinner, which was grilled shrimp, green beans in foil, sautéed onions/purple pepper/zucchini/summer squash with parmesan cheese, and hot sourdough bread. It was a feast.

After they left, we steaked and vacuum packed the tuna, washed dishes, had Greg help us load the generator in the RV, and then crashed. What a day!
