We left Shediac, east of Moncton, searching for the world's largest lobster and found it at the west end of town. Pictures dutifully taken we continued to PEI over the Confederation Bridge. It is a truly amazing sight to cross over a bridge 12 km long over water. It was a calm and sunny day so the views were terrific and no swaying. We went into Charlottetown to another Coast Tire to have the tire re-torqued and the we headed to a campsite recommended by the couple next to us in Grand Falls called Twin Shores Campgrounds. They said it was their favorite stop of their three week vacation. The site lived up to the recommendation but we could only get the sight for one night. I called a former co-worker, Pauline, that lives on PEI and arranged to visit her tomorrow and booked a campsite near her. Garry and I walked the beach around the point from our side of the campground on a bay with red sand beach to the other side on the Gulf with white sand beach. Our campsite has one flaw, the wind. It keeps the awnings over the slides flapping noisily. We may have to close up to get to sleep tonight. Now a thunderstorm is starting and we have a ringside seat. It could be a long night.
