Barichara...a small local colonial town considered to be one of Colombia's most beautiful. The word Barichara is an Indian word meaning "a good place to rest" - very true - the town is full of adobe buildings, stone churches and cobbles the size of huge slabs!

All very nice...but a few hours of this peace and solitude is more than enough and its back to the heady lights of San Gil!
