Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

A gentleman always tips his hat to a lady!!

We had a few showers this morning...

Our buddy Steve did a rain dance for us, lol...

I love this pic!

Passed this big boy on our way to Tatanka last night...

Isn't this sweet?

A neat sky as we arrived for the evening's music...

We really enjoyed the music, set to SD poet Badger Clark's work...

One last shot, I think this spotted fawn is so cute :)

Our day started out slower than the last two but picked up as the morning went on. Clouds moved in & they were a welcome sight! Our buddy Steve teased us about doing a rain dance & we were soon ducking in under the boardwalk, so obviously it worked, LOL! We met & 'greeted' several nice folks again today from as far away as Germany & South Africa. Sure makes our day go by quickly & we really enjoy the interaction. We'll be back out there again tomorrow & hopefully we'll get a few more showers. Keeps the temperature down which sure makes it more tolerable.

Yesterday, after resting a bit, we joined friends Brad & Bonnie at the Tatanka Theatre at the Game Lodge Campground for some great music set to the poetry of Badger Clark, famed South Dakota poet. An enjoyable way to end our day!
