Looks like we picked the week of summer here in Western NY. Another gorgeous day with temps in the mid 80's. After lounging in the morning we hit the road for a tour of the Mt. Morris Dam on the Genesee River. The dam was completed in 1951 and protects the flatland areas between here and Rochester. Numerous catastrophic floods occurred about every 7 years until the dam was completed. The tour and exhibits were excellent. We came back to the park from the southern entrance and completed our sight seeing we could not finish the day before. Just as we finished it was time to head to dinner in Perry NY with our long time friends Don and Pat Partridge. They have the other Darcy we have met in our lives. Our Darci is a couple of years younger. We met at church 33 years ago. Their other daughter Kristen was recently married and we got to see the wedding pictures. Back to Sayre PA today and ready for the Van Duzer reunion Saturday. Enjoy the pics.
