The village of Peggy’s Cove

We intended to spend the day at Halifax, since it is the largest city in Nova Scotia, but we all drove downtown and couldn’t find a place to park. So we decided to go on into Peggy’s Cove. I’m sure glad we did! Peggy’s Cove was absolutely gorgeous. It’s like no other terrain I’ve ever seen – large glacier rocks, clear Atlantic water and the most photographed lighthouse in North America. You can see by the pictures how beautiful it is. We had lunch there (clam bisque) and reluctantly left for The Ovens Campground in Lunenburg.
