Mezin Hawaii 2012 travel blog

Today, we hung around the Muana Lani and Waikola Village area. We went to another resort area called the Waikola Village. They have the Queens and King shops similar to a Partridge Woods and had a farmers market there today. We got some homemade jellies, macadamia nuts and sampled some honey. I bought a Hawaiian pineapple (small) and it is the sweetest pineapple I think I ever had. It is delicious. Also bought some Hawaiian bananas which are about 1/2 the size of regular bananas and are sweeter than a regular banana. Again - Yummy.

I made the kids all try the Macadamia nuts. No big reactions there! I could eat the whole can or bag myself.

In the afternoon, we went to Hapuna Beach. The beach was great for swimming with soft white sand and good waves. The water was a beautiful turquoise blue. They really do a great job keeping up the parks.

We tried to get to the beach for sunset but missed it by about 2 minutes. Took a wrong turn. Oh well... tomorow is another sunset.

Tomorrow morning we are going on a Catamaran dolphin and snorkeling cruise out of Kona. They will have a breakfast and will grill some burgers at lunch. The cruise is about 4.5 hours. Should be fun!!
