Road on Cabot Trail

Today we traveled the famous Nova Scotia Cabot Trail, reputed to be one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the world. Since it is a very winding and hilly drive, Sandy and Diana drove us all (including the dogs) in the Roadtrek. Thank goodness they did, because I don’t think I could have made it all the way through with my RV. At times the grades were 16% and the hairpin curves were treacherous. The trip took nearly five hours and we all gained a few gray hairs in the process. The views were beautiful and the weather was perfect, however. We had lunch at a little harbor restaurant, which was nice. And we saw a moose crossing the road.
