Las Vegas to GWS

The Roaring Fork River is a short walk from their house...

...water level is very low!!

Friday June 29--We left Las Vegas at 7AM and drove all the way to Glenwood Springs, CO arriving at 6PM. Not bad for a trip of 609 miles with 2 fuel stops, and losing an hour moving into the Mountain Time Zone.

Saturday and Sunday were spent with Lee, Cheri and Evan. We took a nice walk with the dogs to the river for swim. It has been unusually hot here, in the mid to high 90's every day. You know about the fires on the "front range", well it is just as dry on the "western slope", and the entire state is under a "no fire, no fireworks" order.
