Mac's 2012 Alaska RV Trip travel blog

This morning I moved the RV from Eielson AFB FamCamp to Riverview RV Park. 50amp E/W/S.

I left Eielson AFB at 10:15AM and arrived at Riverview RV Park at 10:40AM. I got set up and went to Fort Wainwright to get something to eat for lunch.

Riverview RV Park is about half way between the North Pole and Fairbanks. I cannot get satellite Internet or DirecTV here. The RV Park Wi-Fi is free and fairly good.

There is a place to the left of the store where you can wash your RV and tow vehicle. You need to have your own brush, bucket, and soap but just from looking at it from a distance there seems to be plenty of hose to wash everything at once.

I came back to the RV and did three loads of wash (RV combination washer/dryer is quite slow), updated my computer and iPhone, copied all the photo's for the last four days onto the computer, and recharged all the camera's and laptop. I then copied all the photo's onto my laptop for backup.

No pictures today.

18.2 RV miles today - 25 minutes driving time.

10.7 SUV miles today.
