15th May

On the road again.Heading to Larrimah for breakfast at the historical pub.Out the front sits the pink panther. Also attached to the pub was a small zoo, where they look after the injured wildlife. There was also a snake room, needless to say I didn't venture in there.Continuing our travels our plan is to spend the night at the King river rest area.Another busy place, pays to get into these places early for the best spots.

The rest area had some visitors later in the day of the indigenous kind. They got a bit loud and noisy while drinking their long necks[beer].We were not threatened in any way but we were down the other end of the park.Once the beer was gone they left guess they don't worry about drink driving.

16th May

Today we are heading to Adelaide river.Stopping at Katherine to have a look around and stock up on the groceries. Not a bad place not much there in the way of shops.

After setting up at Adelaide River it was time to jump in the pool.Sorry no photos didn't want to scare everyone.A pretty little town, the war cemetery is beautiful. The park had a great little bar and bistro.A Great night was had by all.About 10 pm the gates were locked and opened again at 7am.Driving along we have noticed a lot of the parks are surrounded by fences and gates.

17th May.

Arrived in Darwin today, our home for three weeks. Staying at Lee point which is close to fishing and the city.
