As I type we are in our 5th Walmart parking lot of the trip. We are here because I have my final doctor's appointment at 10 o'clock just up the street. We left Stone Mountain in the morning after I filled up on $3.789 diesel. That seems high for you gassers but it is the lowest we've paid in a year! We stopped and visited Mildred Trott (no relation to our son in law Scott). She has such a positive attitude. We met her at our Decatur Church 6 or so years ago. She lives in a beautiful retirement village in Decatur and had us over for lunch. Then we met up with Joanne Powers of Pete and Joanne for snacks at a really neat place in downtown Decatur. They are world travellers and Joanne was home for a few days before leaving again to meet up with Pete. We left Joanne and drove in rush hour traffic to Marietta for dinner with Glenn and Lynn Courtwright, friends of ours from our daughter Collins era. Collins and Michelle are close friends and we met Michelle's parents many years ago and have been friends since. A fine dinner and conversation then off to Wally World for the night. All is good as we begin to wind up our stay in the Atlanta area. I am meeting up with my great friend John Van Camp today and going to the Braves game. More tomorrow. Enjoy the pics.
