5th May

Today we are leaving Cadney Homestead spending the night at Agnes Creek. We have to be aware as we are driving along unfenced roads and the stock wander aimlessly.Crossing the road when they feel like it.

Amazing sitting around the campfire watching the sunset, then the moon and stars. With no streetlights everything is so clear.

6th May

Our plans for the day to stop at Kulgera to refuel the cars and bodies.Diesel here is $2:10.We have left South Australia behind and hopefully the flies.

We have now entered Northern Territory and heading towards Finke River for an overnight stop.Speed limit in the territory is 130kph unless signposted.

Finke River camp is one of the busiest we have come across so far, over 20 vans in a small area.

Tonight the moon is at it's closest to the earth this year.
