3rd May

Leaving the strong gusty winds behind us [hopefully].A photo stop at Lake Hart an inland salt lake.Heading towards Ingomar.Fuel stop at Glendambo population, Sheep 2,500, flies 2,000,000, Humans 30.We shared our overnight stop at Ingomar with the flies. We will never complain about flies again the hat nets are a great idea.

4th May

On the road again heading towards Cadney Homestead where we will spend the night.A phone stop at Coober Pedy.An opal mining town where a lot of the buildings are underground to offset the summer heat.Signs are posted all over town about the dangers of pitfalls.Who would have thought, pulled over for a drug and alcohol test other side of Coober Pedy, lucky we had only had a mintie.Passed by the breakaways, another beautiful spot, very serene, if you are in the area a must see.Unfortunately we didn't call in this time.

Arrived at Cadney for an overnight stop.Diesel is $1:98.
