Lunch in the Griffith Memorial gardens

War Memorial

Sunrise at Lake Wyangan

17th/18th April

Spent two very relaxing days at this camp situated about 8 kms out of Griffith.

The weather has been a mixed bag , cool breezes in the morning, sunny afternoons, and rainy evening.

Walked around Griffiths taking in the sights, with a relaxing lunch in the Memorial gardens.

"Griffith was proclaimed a city in 1987 and is a cosmopolitan multi cultural community that pivots on strong wine and food industries. The 19th century saw westward movement of settlers who utilised semi arid plains as massive sheep stations."(source Information centre brochure )

Moving day today a beautiful sunrise at Lake Wyangan.
