There are worse places where we could be stuck without the truck. John Prince Park is a beauty. Waited all day yesterday to get the call the truck was fixed and it finally came about 4:30. We had a dinner date at 5:30 so we left the big honkin' dually at the Ford dealer. We called Raquel Brito and she picked us up. This is Raquel of Guillermo and Raquel and their two kids Gabriel and Nicholas. Long story short, Shirley befriended Guillermo's mother when we lived in South Florida. Guillermo married Raquel and they moved to Atlanta to go to Georgia Tech. While they were looking for a place to live we offered our basement apartment in Marietta. They stayed as some of you reading have over the years. Excellent Chicken Cacciatore, salad, all the fixins and desert (all from Publix Supermarket of course). It was great visiting with all 4 of them, they are very special to us. We did pick up the truck this morning. Big bucks but I have them talking to the Ford shop in Arizona where they told me this was fixed. Together they are going to work something out for a credit. So we are staying another day in this wonderful park, testing the truck, going to the beach and preparing for our trip to the keys. Enjoy the pics.
