Tough being a cat

Tough being a pelican too

We have travelled all over this wonderful country and it is good to know that we feel at home in North Florida. It just feels right to be here. We found no place “on the road” where we would like to eventually live and it reaffirms our decision that Neptune Beach is home. But we won’t be here long. A three day stay at Hanna Park in Atlantic Beach is all. We did have a fantastic day! We got in around 11 AM and set up. Had lunch and hit the road to one of our favorite destinations, Fernandina Beach. It was a chamber of commerce day sunny and the upper 70s with low humidity. The St. Johns River ferry and the scenic drive to Amelia Island is always fun. We walked the town and strolled the docks and just had a fun time. On the way home we had dinner at our favorite restaurant, Singleton’s Seafood Shack right on the water. The “Shack” was featured on TV's Dinners, Drive Ins and Dives. We rode our bikes and are looking forward to the rest of our stay. Enjoy the pics
