Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend with family & friends. We went to church this morning & then stopped over to see the kids for a couple of hours before returning home for a traditional New Year's Day meal of pork roast, mashed potatoes/ gravy & sauerkraut. We didn't make any of the usual resolutions like losing weight, exercising more, watching our budget, yadda, yadda, yadda, but I plan on doing all of the above!
The weather has been unseasonably warm, in fact beautiful, so we plan to wash the rig & the truck this week. I'll take all of our decorations down tomorrow & give the inside of the 5'er a good cleaning while I'm at it. I need to go through our closet (again!) and try to abide with the 'one in-one out' rule. We both got a few new things for Christmas & I'm trying to find a spot for them, lol! Boy, 399 sq feet sure seems small at times! Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't give it up for the world.
And speaking of the world, I bet some of you have wondered what it would be like to spend New Year's Eve, on the strip in Las Vegas, with 300,000 of your closest friends! So, today I am posting a link to our local TV, Channel 8's, live coverage of the 8 minute, $500,000 fire works display done by the city of Las Vegas for 2012. As you know, we watched some from the window, some outside & most of it on tv ourselves. We learned many years ago to stay home, away from the mass of folks that visit each year. Enjoy!Las Vegas New Year's 2012
