Bob looking at the River

Grand Canyon of the East

Tallest Falls in Northeast

Rob has visited Letchworth State Park many times in the fall and taken some fantastic pictures. He is a very talented photographer, who has had several photos published. I was so happy he shared this special place with us. Despite the rainy weather, we still had a great time.

I have finally seen really fabulous fall colors at their peak. The Genesee River winds through the park and has cut deep gorges and features several waterfalls.

The park is known as the “Grand Canyon of the East.”

The tallest waterfall in the Northeast is found here. We saw gorgeous vistas around every corner.

A few hours aren’t enough time to do it justice. I want to return next year and spend several days with the whole family. They have a campground and several cabins for rent. It would be a great Hickey family reunion.
