Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

We arrived at the Fiddlers Valley Rv Park in Mountain View, Arkansas this afternoon (Monday)about 4pm. When I last posted we were in Kearney, Nebraska. We then drove through Kansas, with a stop in Salina and a day trip to Abilene to see the Eisenhower Library & Museum. It was well done & we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Then yesterday, Sunday, we stopped overnight in Rogers, Arkansas & had a nice visit that evening with Brad Exton's (Ramblin' Rangers) parents. 80+ years young & the nicest folks, we really enjoyed our visit with them.

As you can see, I am behind once again in posting but we have not had internet service and I need to go through the 400+ pics I took over the last three days before I can post anything of value.

We have a full week planned for our visit here & our friends Harold & Jeanette extended their stay for a week to play tour guides for us. How great is that! They also had Larry & I and another couple, Perry & Janice for dinner and dessert this evening. We really appreciated that after a long day of driving. Then we went for a couple of hours of music which is the number one thing to do here. More on that later...

So, thanks for stopping by & I'll try to write more & do a few pics soon. Just wanted to let family know we have arrived safely tonight before we hit the sack! And since it's 1am as I write this, we're going to do that now, lol! Goodnight...
