They look a bit like elephant seals

Woke up this morning and it was overcast but no rain. We took a 2 1/2 mile hike to the beach and back from our campground. What parks they have in Oregon; beauties! Headed south with the rig and voila! the sun came out. This stretch south on Oregon 101 is right on the coast. Bright sun and mid 70's temps makes for a beautiful ride. We did plenty of stopping, the best was for lunch. WOW! Breathtaking scenery right in front of us as we ate outside in this trendy restaurant/bar overlooking the incredible scenery. I told the manager, "If this restaurant was in San Francisco nobody could afford to eat here". This little town of Port Orford has less than 2000 people and had one of the best ocean views we have ever seen. More stops down the coast and we crossed into yet another state on our journey, California. We have plenty on our agenda and expect to be in SOCAL on or abouts the fourth week (just a heads up to family members). We are in a county park in the redwood forest. Got in at dusk so have not explored much but from what we see it is another beauty ($15). Enjoy the pics.
