My thanks to Shirley for being blog girl for the past two weeks. I enjoyed the vacation and give her a round of applause folks. She did a great job! Upon returning to our campers in Everett Washington, we found our refrigerator which was on LP Gas mode had switched to DC power from our on board batteries. No problem we said but alas our batteries were drained out. So we threw out all the assorted foodstuffs (not much really) and hand cranked the camper back on the big honkin' dually. That was fun let me tell you. But at least we know how to do it now. We left the "urban" Lakeside RV Park and headed about 40 miles north to Camano Island WA. There are many islands in the Puget Sound and this one was accessible via bridge. We needed to regroup and organize after our 28 day wonderful adventure with Don and Jeanne. There is no other couple we know where we could spend that much time together and still be sad it came to an end. Thanks folks for making the trip so memorable. And back to the woods we go. Dry camping with a nice view of the bay as I type. It is good to be back in the camping mode. More about our adventures tomorrow as more island hopping is on our itinerary. Enjoy the pics.
