State Park Sign

In State Park

After getting the tropical Storm warning shortly after setting up we decided to leave Foley AL after one night and drove 150 miles north and east to Bonifay Florida at Florida Springs RV Resort and Campground - not a pretty place but will do for a few days.

By doing this we avoided the brunt of the storm and got out of the flood area - turns out they were expecting 10" - 20" of rain over 3-4 days.

Its Sunday here in Bonifay and the thunder and rain started this morning its coming down quite hard but little wind, looks like we will have 2 days of this. Good job we have lots of books to read however its a little restrictive being stuck in here all the time, were about 40 miles north of Panama Beach so will probably take a ride down there this afternoon if the rain isn't to bad.

We will return to Foley AL after the storm has passed probably Wednesday this week.

Saturday we went for a drive to Falling Waters State park, checked out the campsites and the waterfall Floridas highest but it had dried up?
