|On Saturday I arrived at the Missouri River at Chamberlain. If ever a prize were to be handed out for the best wayside in America, the one at Chamberlain would win hands down. Great views of the Missouri and a pretty cool museum detailing the Lewis and Clark expedition.
Most campgrounds along the Missouri are still flooded but I found a free camping spot on the Crow Creek Indian Reservation with great views of the river from a bluff above.
Most unusual experience of the day---went down to the riverbank to take a picture and entered a field with seemingly millions of grasshoppers.
