Just like most boys of the '50s I wanted to be a cowboy. Had my six shooter and low slung one gun holster and a couple of cap rifles on my gun rack in my room. I watched all the cowboy TV shows. Not surprising we are in Cheyenne WY for day 2. We first went to the Old West Museum on the grounds of the famous Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo grounds. We have been to many museums on our trip but this was my favorite. We stopped for lunch and walked around waiting for our trolley tour of the city. We talked with a man who was virtually single handed and financing the refurbishing of an old rail car for display near the Union Pacific station. Our trip around town was very interesting. One note of fact was Wild Bill Hickok was married in the Methodist Church. We had a great pizza dinner with Aunt Carolyn's daughter Marci and her husband Nathan who we discovered lived in Cheyenne, wow what a surprise. Enjoy the pics.
