Granger/Verneuille RV Trip West travel blog

It rained last night, so the temps were much cooler. Still lots of humidity.

On I 29 through Iowa, the Missouri River is close to the Interstate. We had to make 2 detours off I 29 because the road was flooded. 70 extra miles below the Council Bluffs area and then above it. The little Iowa roads were really bumpy and rough.

We did not get to our stop at the Red Barn RV Park in Tea, SD until 6:00pm. Lots of sections of I 29 were single lane due to construction and rough. We had to go under 50 mph a lot of the time. Some rain while we were setting up and then it rained hard during the night.
