Happy 4th - My campsite yard art

Happy Independence Day everyone! Hope you are doing what you love to do and enjoying time with friends and family.

We stayed in camp yesterday and just enjoyed our surroundings. The campground is full and quiet. Everyone is out enjoying the area during the day and sitting around the campfire at night.

Len and I spent part of the afternoon taking a walk thru the woods behind us up to Rosy Lane and walked back along the river bank. The flowers are quickly changing around here, so I have to take advantage of the photo ops when I can.

We are headed into Gunnison late this afternoon to do laundry (never ending!) and catch the historian lecture on what Gunnison was like in 1951. Hope to grab dinner and sit and watch the fireworks. Luckily it rained here on and off on Wed so, our fire hazard level is diminished.

Have fun and be safe!
