|By the time we got everything finished up it was after noon today. Much later than we'd planned, but we decided to go ahead and get on the road anyway. The weather was nice, in the low 70's and no wind, so we thought we'd get at least 3-4 hours in. Marion came over to help me load the boat & the inversion table as they are just a bit too much for me to handle alone. I really appreciated his help. It was difficult to leave Mom so soon but we'll be back in the Fall & I know Lori will take good care of her while we're gone. She's actually taking a couple of short trips herself shortly so we felt better about leaving her. We'd love for her to come to South Dakota to check things out & talked about that as we drove today. I'll speak to her about that after she returns from her other flights. Airports can be exhausting these days!
Our tanks were pretty full even though I was the only one staying in the 5'er so, before leaving town we had to make a stop at the Sinclair Station where they offer free dumping. I seem to be considerably slower at this 'stuff' than Larry is as I normally do the inside while he takes care of the outside. I think I like the inside better! However, it's good to know both & to know that I can do it in a pinch. But I'm sure looking forward to his cast coming off & the return of my 'fixed' hubby! It's good to have him home again, though a bit tough on him as he deals with the stairs numerous times a day.
We had an uneventful, though pretty trip, and arrived in Wendover about 5pm. We found a nice place to park behind the Nugget Casino & reheated Mexican food left from dinner out with Mom last night. A couple of hours of TV and it's time to hit the sack. We'll head into Utah tomorrow & possibly go on into Wyoming. We want to spend a couple of hours visiting Flaming Gorge Monday before arriving in Casper. Hope you can check back over the next few days, we should have some nice pics as we're in a lovely area. Night...
