The Olson's Retirement RV Adventures travel blog

Another state for Gophie's journal.

Sugar is using her bed as a pillow. She was too tired...

Today is a travel day with the goal to get to Grand Junction, Co. We no longer got on the road and it started raining again. We stopped in Moab, Utah for breakfast and soon realized it was a great town for outdoor adventurers. Arches National Park is beautiful and has a great bike trail for bicycle enthusiasts. We had a 30 minute break with some sunshine leaving Arches National park area and then more rain and wind as we headed to Grand Junction on HWY I-70. This is the first interstate highway we have been on since leaving home.

Another 30 minute break in the sunshine give us time to set up camp at the RV Ranch in Clifton, CO. which is the east side of Grand Junction. It rained most of the evening. We drove to town and had "chili" at Wendy's. It was a cheap warm dinner. We will be here 2 nights.
