2010 - 2011 Adventure travel blog

Not much happening. Postponed the eavespout job and hopefully getting the bedroom painted for this weekend. Went to visit nephew Steve and his family the other night. Had to stop 4 times on the highway on the way home to let deer cross the road. Bobbi’s services are today in Sequim, Wa. RIP Bobbi.. Bob is talking about staying a little longer out in Forks so he can get some fishing in. That would have him getting home in late May, just in time for decent weather.

Well, I didn’t get this posted I see. It’s now Tuesday, 5/17, and Bob will be getting home tonight after 7 long weeks. He went to Courtney’s graduation with Danny/Jolene and the girls on May 7, and their Suburban broke down on the way home – had to rent a car and spend another night on the road. He did get to go fishing on Friday (his 1st fish was 27” long – cod). Then on Saturday (5/14) Jolene and he drove back over to Pullman to pick up her Suburban and take the rental car back. His son Tom drove down from Spokane and picked him up and he did get to spend a couple days with his family. Tom drove him over to see the gold claim (which had been our final destination when we started this trip last November!). Tom had to fly to Washington, DC on Monday, and Bob is coming home today. Pray he makes his flight connection as I only allowed him 1 hour and 22 minutes !!! Thanks to family we got the bedroom painted, but saved the eavespouts and high lawn for him (don’t want him to feel unnecessary!).
