|A short blog without pics this morning will try and get them up tonight. After touring the headquarters of Heifer International in Little Rock we took off to try and out run the next round of storms and tornadoes. We got to Pine Bluff AR and the skies were very dark with the tornado sirens sounding. We found the library, parked the camper away from trees and light poles and went in. What a storm! It let up and we looked across the parking lot and there was a Ramada Hotel. We stayed as the storms returned and whipped up around the area. Pine Bluff is on the Arkansas river which is expected to breach its levy sometime soon. We hope to be able to get out before we need a boat. Interestingly, the day we left Hot Springs National Park and went to Perryville to visit the Heifer International Ranch both were hit with tornadoes. At the ranch they wanted us to camp in their campground. We thought we would be too exposed. They are closed for the week for repairs. We drove to Little Rock and the first campground we looked at we did not like and went to another. The first one was hit hard by wind and hail with damage to RVs and vehicles. We have been blessed to have kept safe so the hotel seemed like we were being led to spend the night. All is good. We are thanking God, literally.
