While they were working on the motorhome we all jumped into Jan's jeep had heading out to do some touring. We decided to visit the "Griffith Observatory".

The Griffith Observatory started as one man's vision for inspiring people through astronomy and has become the most visited public observatory in the world. Griffith J. Griffith first gave Griffith Park to Los Angeles in 1896. He left money in his will in 1919 to build the Observatory and the Greek Theatre.

It was really cool. From to perimeters you could see the famous "Hollywood Sign" on the side of the mountain. You also overlooked the city of Los Angeles. Who would of believe how incredibly foggy it was. They have a tremendous problem with air pollution there for to many cars.

While visiting Amuel Oschin Planetarium we got to see the show called "Centered in the Universe". It did not show as many star formations as we had expected it was more of a story show with some planets. But it was still fun.
