North to Alaska-2010 travel blog

We arrived home on September 15. As they say all good things must come to an end. This truly was a trip of a lifetime - a true adventure. We were 10 days short of being gone 4 months. I thought I should give you some statistics about the trip. We drove 16,620 miles, we used approximately 1,846 gallons of diesel fuel at a cost of $6,322.11, we stayed at 52 different campgrounds, which means we set-up and closed down the RV 112 times. Just looking at these numbers makes me tired, but it was truly worth it. We had a wonderful time, saw unbelieveable sites and met a lot of great people, who I hope will remain friends. I have enjoyed sharing this adventure with everyone and hope you enjoyed hearing about and seeing all the beautiful places we visited. We live in a beautiful country - get out there and see it if you have the opportunity. Until next time, happy travels to everyone.
