Sorry for the delay, but we've been busy out having fun and exploring. When we drove from Ouray to Silverton the first time I was driving the Dutch Star and Nancy was following in the Ranger, so we took no pictures, and my focus was not on the passing scenery. We felt it was worth another drive to Ouray and back to Silverton to experience this drive without the pressure of driving the rig, and it was. While near Ouray we went off road heading toward Yankee Boy Basin but didn't quite make it there.

A first for Nancy. She drove the Ranger off road for the first time and she did great! I was somewhat nervous at first, but relaxed as time went on.

Another post will be about our trip to Clear Lake which is located at 12,000 ft elevation and is stunningly beautiful as you'll see.
