Elk grazing on the side of the road in the Redwoods

Our travel trailer nestled into its campsite

The Oregon coast - rock arches and waves

Harris Beach State Park is located in Brookings, Oregon and is one of my favorite parks from my youth. We camped here as a family and also with our Boy Scout Troop. It was a great campsite pushed back into the trees and very private.

On the trip up to Brookings we stopped to view a herd of Elk that was grazing alongside the road. Check out the antlers on those elk.

We camped at Harris Beach SP for two nights. We drove up the Oregon coast to Gold Beach and then returned before dinner. The salmon we purchased on the jetty at Harbor, OR was grilled up for dinner.

What a life!
