Twin Pines Campground

Found another hidden dream today at Lander, CO. We arrived and dropped the camper at the campground and went on to Sinks Canyon State Park. Halfway down the canyon the river turns into a large limestone cavern and the water sinks into fissures and cracks at the back of the cave. The river is underground for 1/4 mile until it emerges down the canyon in a pool called “The Rise.” We took a hike up to the Popo Agie Falls and what a site it was. The pictures I took just couldn’t do it justice. Once again we had perfect weather and the hike although we were slow (it took 1-1/2 hours to go 3 miles) it was a great find. We’re off to the Tetons and Yellowstone so we may not have Internet for a few days.
