Got bus to Armenia then another to Popayan, total time traveling=8 hrs, arr at 4. Countryside in long valley was filled with miles and miles of sugar cane fields....

Ze Ee, from Malasia traveling w/, she is a very easy going gal, thus we have done well. Here we walked the old town and to view point at Morro de Belalcazar (founder of the city)...see pics.

Also saw the bridge, Puente del Humilladero, the Catholic bishops used to cross the river. See pics

Located in the center of the city, in the zone of Bolívar, it was built in 1873. It is composed by 12 arcs and it is 180 m. high. It was the main entrance to the city for a long period. It was designed by an Italian prist and a German engineer.

A fine day for an eve parade as well it turns out, it's 'Day of the Virgin Mary' so we have entertainment too, and very good!
