Tuesday morning we checked the weather forecast for the area and found out the storm would not hit Alberta until later in the day. In fact, the forecast for Calgary was for very little snow but Central Alberta was to get 20-30 centimetres of snow. We decided to make a quick stop in Calgary and then drive on to Stettler AB where we could set up for the next 10 days. We arrived in Stettler around 3:30 and set up. We are the second RV to be in the campground this spring and do not have full services but have enough to get by. Late in the evening the storm hit, delivering about 15 centimetres of snow and knocking the power out for several hours. We were glad we did not have to drive any further and could settle in for a few days to relax and reconnect with family.
