So sorry that I haven't written in a very long time, but wifi has been a challenge to find in Australia, believe it or not.
Thank you to everybody who has sent enquiries. I am still enjoying myself, and have been reunited with Rose, Elaine's mum, who has come to visit us in Australia. I think she came to make sure that Cory and Elaine return to Canada.
My plans are to update the journal when I return to Canada, which will be very soon.
I have so much to share with you about our adventures down under, plus do a summary of mine and Cory and Elaine's thoughts on this past year.
In the meantime to all my friends in Canada, I am enjoying the coverage of the Olympics and must say it does make us feel a little touch of missing Canada. Cory laughs at Elaine each time she gets choked up. You should have seen her watching the opening ceremonies, and at each of the Canadian gold medal presentations. Plus there are no words to say about Joannie's courage as she skated.
Well the sun is shining, so I think it is back to the beach for a little while, plus Cory and Elaine need to go clothes shopping. For some strange reason they don't want to land in Canada with shorts, t-shirts and sandals.
Thanks for following our journey, and will fill you in on the final country in March.
