The Peacock's Hot Lap 2010 travel blog

We have been attempting to leave familiar territory as quickly as possible, but it turns out that even NSW can be a very lovely place. We have only covered about 450 kms in the last 2 days, but we keep telling our selves that travelling freedom means doing what we choose to do and going where we want to go.

We stopped at Kangaroo Valley on our first night. Not very far from home, but we had left 3 hours late from home after a tearful family goodbye. Our second night was spent at another gorgeous campsite in Narooma, on the lovely Lake Brou.

We are keen to make up for our slow travel so far and get to Albury on the border tomorrow...I’ll keep you posted.

The rat race is still in our veins. We are gradually trying to wind down and un-stress. It may be a bit of a process...
