Larry and I had a wonderful Christmas morning together. We have an agreement that large gifts are a thing of the past. Frankly, there isn't much we need and we just don't have the space for most things. So, our joint gift to each other this year was a new air compressor! We need a unit capable of handling the 5'ers tires and this Craftsman unit from Sears fits the bill. It's also fairly small and compact. We both got new clothes, slippers, a purse/wallet, the obligatory undies and a few other useful items like pocket knives, a buck knife, and a flashlight as well!
Afterward, we went into the house for a bit to visit and watch the Fiscus family opening their things. Back home, we showered, had breakfast, and then headed over to the kids. Jasmine had worn out and was taking a much needed nap by the time we arrived, so the adults had a couple of hours to visit and exchange gifts.
Among the gifts I received are a new pressure cooker and a magic bullet. Can't wait to try them out. And my honey was very pleased to receive a Jupiter Jack for hands free talking on the phone while driving, and an electronic Brain teaser game. It was an enjoyable afternoon, followed by a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings. So that was our day. I hope you all had a safe and blessed day with your family and friends as well....
One last note. Tawnia and Larry shared the gift of a 2010 Calendar starring Miss Jasmine. It is so well done I would really like to share it with you. Only 2 of the photos are superimposed on a stock background. All of the others were personal photos taken by Tawnia at a local park, Lake Las Vegas, Canada etc. She purchased all of the outfits and sold them on Ebay afterward (for more than the original cost I might add!) She also made many of the props herself. Wow, I can't even imagine all of the work involved in this project! Our friends Jim & Pat commented that she should market them when we shared it with them. I photographed each page and I think you'll get the idea. Enjoy!
