Chapter 12Fall Campout travel blog

The sun was out again when I work up on Sunday morning. Coffee was ready and fresh donuts, hard rolls, and toast were on the menu. We all gathered for a quick breakfast and then it was time to pack up. Lots of talk about winterizing the coaches and campers for those of us not going South for the winter. Many will be around for the Christmas party and some will be back for it so we have one more chance to see everyone before the end of the year. We had a great time and as always the time goes by to fast. I stopped at Flying J on the way home and filled up with fuel and drained my holding tanks for the winter. It appears it is none to soon as we have a freeze warning tonight and had the first frost warning of the year last night. I will be doing my first winterization very soon.

The club is planning a new twist to some of the campouts next year. Destination campouts that may last several days or even a week. Sounds great.

We have had a great first summer with the motor home. We have left the yard 16 times with it and spent the night in 18 different places. Looking forward to many more trips.

Thanks for checking in.
